Grand Opening – Renaissance At Regency

Grand Opening – Renaissance At Regency

Want a sneak preview of the newest luxury homes being built around Symphony Lake?

Send us an email or give us a ring to set up a viewing of the new luxury homes going up in Regency. Easy strolls down the new greenway path to Koka Booth Amphitheatre, and a few more feet to the new Life Time Fitness, as well as easy access to shopping at Whole Foods, Trader Joes make this a compelling new location to build high end homes.

I often run from my home in Lochmere to enjoy the paths and scenery. Development is cranking along, with mixed use and some retail (I think) going up.

Renaissance Cottages builder, ForeverHome new home floor plans has some great details! We like all of the Forever Homes Subdivisions, actually.

I enjoyed the Lochmere Swim & Tennis Club much more this year. Everyone responsible for running it should give themselves a pat on the back. The carnival and all the other activities were lots of fun for kids (young and old, small and big), the pool itself was much cleaner, and the weather hotter.

Can’t wait for the opening next summer 🙂

2007 Greek Festival

Greek Festival 2007

Looking for something to do this weekend (Sept. 14-16)? Head on over to the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC for the 2007 Greek Festival. Not only is it a fun time with live music and dancing, shopping, and some great food, a portion of the proceeds go to a good cause- Habitat for Humanity.

Click here for event times and a menu of available food.

For directions on how to get to the Fairgrounds, click here.

Did you make it to the Festival? Please post your best photo of the Festival in the comment section. Best photo will get a gift certificate for the most scrumptious Greek food in the Triangle – Xios in Apex, NC. While there, you can try the Big Fat Greek Festival Hummus – 1st Place hummus will be featured this month and 2nd place recipe will be featured in October.

I wonder if Kirk will tell us what the secret ingredient is in the Sean Womack’s recipe? I’m sure Xios will be at the Festival so make sure to stop by and tell them Rama said hello.
