Lochmere Neighborhood in Cary

Lochmere Neighborhood in Cary is a mix of neighborhoods surrounding the three lakes Lochmere Lake, Lake Lomond and Highlands Lake  in the middle of Cary at the intersection of Tryon Road and Kildaire Farm Road.

There are many home options from townhomes to single family detached houses on large lots in Lochmere. Home prices range from mid $150,000 for townhomes up to over $1,000,000 for estate type homes with lake frontage. The community was begun in the mid Eighties when the town of Cary was a whole lot different and it is a credit to the planners of Lochmere who incorporated the natural beauty of the land and lakes into the neighborhood, preserving what is today almost impossible to find in Cary. Preston Neighborhood Cary NC

The Preston Neighborhood in Cary, NC is a wonderful mix of neighborhood “communities”  built around the prestigious Prestonwood Country Club. There are many different home styles and prices range from $250,000 up to $2,500,000. Most of the homes were built between the mid eighties and late nineties. There are beautiful tree lined streets connecting the different neighborhoods and bike lanes are on most main streets. The more expensive homes are often found in small private cul-de sacs with golf course views. The community is a walking delight with wide sidewalks and miles of different options.
